The 2018 Synod was held April 19-22, 2018 at YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly, Black Mountain, NC, under the theme: “Living the Essentials with Courage for the Future”.
Some 200 voting delegates, 35 advisory delegates and ecumenical guests, at 24 staff members gathered gathering to worship, pray, listen, share, discern and decide about the leadership, priorities and direction of the Southern Province.
