Comenius Learning Series Fall Event

Saturday, November 3, 2018 | 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. | Ardmore Moravian Church, Winston-Salem, NC

Called in Faith to do What? The Bible and Ethics

According to our primary doctrinal statement, “The Ground of the Unity,” we are called in faith to serve humanity, with our actions shaped by scripture – but this is not always an easy task! Indeed, disagreements over how we translate scripture’s messages into individual and community actions are not new. Join us as we explore some of the challenges and prospects of biblical, faithful decision-making, then and now.

Presenters:

The Rev. Dr. Frank Crouch, dean & vice-president, professor of New Testament, Moravian Theological Seminary.

Dr. Audrey West, adjunct professor of New Testament, Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago.
